Coldest Winter

I know it's been a little while since I've posted but in my defence I'm out here trying to make fetch happen so I don't have a lot of free time to take pictures and put posts together. Aside from my recent obsession with my midriff, I've been dressing really boring.. I do have a tonne of fabric, some patterns and a little bit of time coming up so I'll definitely be posting more interesting 'fits in the weeks to come!

ps. I got these velvet boots in the recent Nelly sale for peanuts and they're the best winter investment I've made thus far, perfect for when I need some height without the frostbitten toes and foot-top (you know what I mean)!

Blue Collar

It's been a long time I shouldn't have left you without no beat to step to, but between sorting my life out, fending off illness and getting myself embroiled in general grown-up activities I haven't had much time to dedicate to the blog.
Aaand what time I've had free I've spent with my nose buried in The Grapes Of Wrath, so being the weirdo that I am I decided to dress up like one of those migrant farm-hands Steinbeck was always harping on about.. you know the ones I'm talking about, they ploughed the fields in heels and wore fur over their denim overalls?
