Flatforms

I'm a teeny bit obsessed with flatforms at the moment, with these 'match point's from Office having particularly caught my eye. I imagine them on my feet and on my shoe rack so I'm currently trying to convince myself I need them. At £25 they cost next to nothing meaning I could buy them, wear them once, decided I hate them, shove them under my bed and pretend they don't exist.. but I'm forever rationalising -> spending -> regretting -> forgetting and in the back of my head running down lists of how many oreo krushems, chai tea latte's, chicken mcnuggets, eyebrow threadings, acrylic refills, etc etc etc the money could, and more importantly should have covered. So anywehdoh black or white? I'm rather taken with the white.

Winter Staples

howwwdaaaay!! what's everyone been up to? myself? hmm, well lets see.. apart from flying into a fit of raaaaage three weeks ago and consequently shaving my head bald, my January's been a real snore-fest. I've been detoxing, going to the gym, eagerly awaiting the appearance of a 6pack and a lotto win.
Incase you're unable to tell, I'm in dire need of some mojo so if you have any left-over do the right thing and pass it on?

ps. anyone know any lotions and potions to get my hair back? It's too cold to be hairless and I need my curls back!

Enter The Dragon

WE MADE IT!!! Thank you all so much for reading, commenting and entertaining every rambley post that's gone up on this blog the past twelve months - and for bearing with me when I tried to switch my affections to tumblr, when I got ill, when I got busy etc. I decided last year to put a little more effort in the blog and consequently met some wonderful, encouraging people (online and off), so Happy New Year to you and yours, I hope we can all continue to grow, connect and learn from each other!

ps. in case anyone out there is side-eyeing my choice of song, 2012 is in actual fact the year of the dragon and if I may borrow from the words of Sisqo, "I'm about to let the dragon out, na nanana nananana"

twentythree

I only recently realised that with regards to my birthday, the less of a fuck I give the more I tend to enjoy the occasion! I turned 23 yesterday and couldn't have asked for a better day.. I had no outlandish birthdayzilla demands, no cake, didn't force any restaurant staff to sing me happy birthday, just had a thankful spirit, enjoyed self-bought presents, time with my loved ones and champagne (that I couldn't really drink because of tequila-induced throat burn.. such a shame)

took a couple of shots before heading out last night.. of all the stuff I treated myself to these leopard print Topshop heels and the copy of Anna Karenina are my faves!

Blue Collar

It's been a long time I shouldn't have left you without no beat to step to, but between sorting my life out, fending off illness and getting myself embroiled in general grown-up activities I haven't had much time to dedicate to the blog.
Aaand what time I've had free I've spent with my nose buried in The Grapes Of Wrath, so being the weirdo that I am I decided to dress up like one of those migrant farm-hands Steinbeck was always harping on about.. you know the ones I'm talking about, they ploughed the fields in heels and wore fur over their denim overalls?
