I first saw this DIY on A Pair and A Spare, and was originally going to try it that way buy I'm way too fidgety to be able to wear an unsecured piece of fabric and not end up pulling it down accidentally, leaving myself naked. I pulled out a scrap of jersey I had and kind of reworked the DIY in my own way..
I made 1 simple tube and another also a simple tube just twisted twice before sewing (zigzag seam on each skirt). I used a pretty good quality cotton jersey so I don't really have to worry about the edges fraying, which is a relief because I cannot finish hems to save my life.. kind of sad when you take into consideration I've been sewing since I was like 9 :-/
ps. forgive me, I have no make-up on and have been up since 5am.. not pretty.
